We travelled with the World Vision team to their project areas, met people who needed help.
We took photographs, collected stories and interviewed the people. Based on this understanding, the Real Gifts website was developed.
Photographs provide a Real Face to every need; the website explains the case. Users select the individual they want to help or the need (problem) they want to help solve.
‘Track Your Donation’ feature updates and helps track your cause all the way. This lends assurance and credibility to the process.
Once a problem is solved or user helped, they become Success Stories. This shows the happier side of charity work, and inspires people to help more.
We therefore decided to use technology to “create a window into the lives of the people and how you positively affected their lives”
The Donation amounts have gone up significantly post the launch of the Real Gifts website.
